“Dissonant ferocity meets industrial mechanical precision. ‘Oscilador’ is Mexico City’s Sunset Images’ latest pursuit of sonic resistance, a reflection of the perpetual cycle that rules our world’s history: birth, decay, chaos and resolution. Fuelled by the collision of pulsating vocals, primitive drum beats, fractured synths and jagged guitars that create walls of feedback crashing into meditative drones. A visceral blend of noise rock, psychedelia and hypnotic repetition, an aural landscape that’s both disorienting and irresistible.

Our world is cyclical; everything repeats itself: our history, our customs, our trends, our way of communicating. Everything oscillates; we are all a continuous cycle of decisions, mistakes, and the will to strive to be better. "Oscilador" attempts to reflect these aspects of life in music. As sound reaches a point of distortion and feedback, it oscillates and creates deeper, more difficult-to-understand soundscapes, but just as everything begins, everything has an end, the moment when everything starts over and ultimately evolves. An album that speaks out on racism, forced displacement, forced disappearances and genocide that must not be tolerated anymore….
