Solar Temple & Dead Neanderthals - Embers Beget the Divine

 Even if you don't know Solar Temple or Dead Neanderthals it is very likely that you are familiar with its members' other bands: Fluisteraars, Dool, MNHM or Plague Organ, just to name a few. Together, Solar Temple & Dead Neanderthals carved out their own blend of krautrock-like black metal that's unlike anything else out there. Trance-inducing, primitive and beautiful.

Late 2021, two stalwarts of the Dutch underground scene - atmospheric black metal act Solar Temple and experimental blast furnace Dead Neanderthals - decided to team up and write an album together. In the months that followed, they toiled away at 3 lengthy compositions that represented the collaboration of both bands perfectly. Elements of black metal, psych rock and krautrock were at the heart of the music, a heart that was filled with life at Roadburn Festival 2022, where the bands performed and recorded Embers Beget the Divine. The album was mixed by guitarist / vocalist Omar Kleiss and mastered by Greg Chandler.
